Engagement Session at Mount Rainier National Park During Wildflower Season

We are so so jazzed to share this engagement photoshoot with you! Our beautiful couple, Chenyu and David wanted to celebrate their engagement at Rainier National Park, which is a wonderful choice this time of year.

We helped the couple plan their perfect photoshoot during golden hour, and planned everything from helping them choose outfits, logistics, location and even some fun poses!

Photoshoots may seem like a super simple thing at first, but when couples dive into the planning stage, it can easily get overwhelming - which is where we come in!

We met up at the Paradise visitor center at around 5:30 pm, and hiked about 2 miles to the perfect location. Our couple wanted their photos to have the stunning mountains as their background with lush flowers.

While we were hiking, we were able to fully experience what Rainier National park has to offer: stunning mountain tops, beautiful wildflowers and even some cute little critters! It was truly magical. We even saw marmots chasing each other in the wildflower fields along with a few mountain goats! It’s moments like these where we’re so thrilled to be able to do what we do - helping couples have an experience, not just take some photos.

We finally reached our destination, and helped Chenyu & David find the perfect spot to start our photoshoot. With perfect 360 degree views, we were able to get a plethora of different backgrounds, concepts, expressions and poses. Our goal with each of our photoshoots is to capture the genuine love and expression of our couples.

After getting some amazing shots, we started hiking back down and took some extra photos! This time of year especially, Mount Rainier National Park has an amazing variety of backdrops and is truly a scenic place.

We feel so honored for Chenyu & David to have picked us to be their engagement photographer, and we absolutely love the way the photoshoot turned out! Let us know in the comment what you think!
