Xin & Eugene’s Mount Rainier Elopement

The day began long before dawn, with Xin and Eugene hiking through the quiet darkness to a breathtaking viewpoint. As the first rays of light kissed the sky, they shared a private first look. The awe of Mount Rainier towering in the distance added to the emotion of the moment, and they exchanged personal vows while the mountain showed itself fleetingly through the clouds. Although rain was in the forecast, we were gifted with stunning sunrise views before the mist gently rolled in.

After their private morning together, Xin and Eugene met their family in a nearby parking lot, excited to share the next part of their journey. Together, they hiked to an overlook for their ceremony. Although the mountain had tucked itself behind a veil of fog by then, the atmosphere felt magical. The quiet of the park wrapped around them as they exchanged vows and rings, with their loved ones standing witness to their union.  

Once the ceremony concluded, the group made their way to a picnic area to celebrate. Laughter and warmth filled the air as they toasted to the couple's love. When light drizzle began to fall, everyone took shelter in the visitor center, where Xin and Eugene found matching sweaters—a playful and meaningful keepsake from their day.

As their family said their goodbyes, Xin and Eugene embarked on the final chapter of their elopement. We drove to another location in the park, where vibrant wildflowers dotted the landscape. Despite the lingering fog, the atmosphere was moody and romantic, creating an ethereal backdrop for their portraits. 

Amid the flowers, Xin and Eugene shared a private first dance, their laughter and love filling the quiet valley. It was a moment of pure connection—just the two of them, savoring the day and the beauty around them.
